FACE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT

Fake it till you make it… is my least favourite quote in the whole wide world. It is fairly obvious why I don’t like it. Especially since a big part of my teaching is encouraging others to live authentic and extraordinary lives

Recently I heard a podcast about ‘facing it till you make it’ and it resonated so much with me. I know this to be true. Everything I’ve ever achieved has come from effort on my part, to learn, grow and face my fears head on.

All of us have some sort of obstacle to overcome, whether it’s physically, mentally, or spiritually. We all have this in common. Some people will keep on ‘facing it,’ having a go, accept the challenge, do what needs to be done, and others will retreat, back away, give up and become discouraged, disappointed or bitter. Whatever we are NOT facing is holding us back from becoming who we truly are, discovering our full potential, and making a difference in the world in a positive way.

Until we can face our fear of failure, insecurity, past trauma, mentally assigned labels, and other peoples opinions…we are stuck, stagnant, and retreating from the life we deserve. Consider the possibility that you don’t need to BE fake at all, ever, and facing the truth is the only way you will find what it is you are looking for. It’s okay to doubt yourself and have ‘fear’ but it shouldn’t stop you from achieving what you want out of life.

If you have to face your fears and fight to step into the BEST version of your Self…it’s well worth it and remember, it’s a fight we are ALL facing!
