BE MINDFUL

Being mindful can give us back a sense of mastery over our thoughts and feelings.



To BE mindful is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. (Not easy…and I have not mastered this nor am I a master #justsaying)


To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and it is about giving time and attention to what truly matters.




It's being conscious or aware (mindful) of something or what you are doing right now -- taking a sensible, accepting and non-judgmental focus of the stuff occurring in the present (such as in your own and other people's emotions, thoughts and sensations).


“Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally,” says Kabat-Zinn. “And then I sometimes add, in the service of self-understanding and wisdom.”.
