BE GIVING

Isolating from others is really tough for many of us. We were not created to be in life alone.

We are supposed to interact and connect deeply with others, this is a fundamental truth whether we choose to believe it or not..

A person who lacks the ability to connect with others is usually unhappy and self-absorbed, and in the habit of blaming others for what is 'happening’ to them. This mindset facilitates and endorses a retreat from developing healthy robust relationships. It’s not a helpful way to BE in life.

Our situation at the moment for all of us is similar, and a bridge of potential connection with the entire world...never before experienced. Some countries are really suffering right now. Consider the third world countries and their plight.

When we compare what we are experiencing to what they are experiencing, it certainly changes our perspective. We may even feel grateful for what WE are experiencing.

How will we use this time to develop our connection with others?

Will we choose to connect and empathize with others, or will we choose to withdraw, concentrating instead on feeling sorry for our own situation?

Is there a way you can give away from yourself today?

No suggestions from me…because giving and being a giver is a condition of the heart and must come from a place of genuine love, compassion and care.
